Exciting News - This award has grown into a NATIONAL award, now honouring educators (Teachers and Early Childhood Educators) across CANADA!
In the past, Natural Curiosity and the Dr. Eric Jackman Insititute of Child Study have honoured pre-service elementary school teachers for their excellence in Environmental Inquiry in Ontario. We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting applications from Early Childhood Educators across Canada for the Edward Burtynksy Award.
The Edward Burtynsky Award for Teaching Excellence in Environmental Education was established by the Laboratory School at the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study. This award was made possible by the Norman and Marian Robertson Charitable Foundation, the generosity of anonymous donors, and world-renowned Environmentalist and Photographic Artist, Edward Burtynsky.
